I have a horse with sweet itch, with only being on it since the begining of may she has had one ithcing attack and it is now aug. At this time last year she had no fur left on her body from itching so much. I give it to my pony too and there are hardly no flies on them. The horse with sweet itch I give 2 scoops in June and July when the bugs are really bad

Keeps Ticks OFF!!
We bought this product thinking it would fail. We live in a heavily infested tick area and used to pick ticks daily off our horses. We found 1 tick on the horses from the day we starting using this product. As far as flies, there was a noticable decrease in flies on premise this season. Not sure about deerflies and horseflies tho. We saw them land but not sure if they were actually biting since the horses react instantly to their landing. It also brought out gorgeous deep colors in both our horses. I highly reccommend this product.
Doesnt work. was using simplifly with good success but wanted to try something more natural so I bought a 10lb pail. wasted 80 bucks. The fly population has trippled
BUG CHECK SUCCESS!
Bug Check is an AWESOME product. I have a mare that is very sensitive to bug bites and will break out in hives once the no-see-ums make their appearance. Literally within a day of starting her on the Bug Check the hives are gone. If they appear again, I just up the dosage and the hives disappear. I cannot say enough good things about this product.
I need this now that we live in N. C.
This is the second time I have tried Bug Check. When I lived in Pa. I did not have many flies and no ticks,so I really didi not see a difference. Now we live in N. C. and have ticks everywhere, and I have only found one on my mare in the last month. We dont seem to have many flies, but I would recommend it for ticks. I am feeding 1 scoop a day, because the ticks are so bad.

Really loved this product last year. Saw a significant reduction the fly population. This year, however, noticed more fly larvae in the manure. While the fly population is not as it would be without any treatment, it is slightly higher than last year. I like the idea of the product being all natural and do notice an improvement in their coat condition.
Appears to decrease the amount of flies that land on the horses as apposed to when i wasnt using it
Bug Check from the Natural Vet
My horse is very sensitive to bugs. I started him on bug check several years ago and it really seems to help. One evening at the boarding barn I noticed all of the horses swishing and stomping - all except Murray. Bug Check doesnt keep every bug off but it sure helps.

Best feed through fly control!
I have been using this product for several years now. It really does seem to help keep the flies under control. Easy to use and the horses love it. Economical for 2 horses in this size.
Mixed review, but overal happy
We live at the edge of large wildlife sanctuary with a creek & several ponds. Our 5 horses where given Bug Check during my trial period using full scoop per day. 2 horses dark coats were still attacked mercilessly by deer flies @ dusk while remaining herd light coats were bloodstain free. Dont know whether to up the dose on the dark horses or try something else. Very happy for my other horses & will keep them on it during this heavy fly season. Great product & horses dont smell garlicly. They eat is right up with their daily feed.

I love this stuff!! Need to start early in the spring before warm weather -- start feeding ~3 weeks before the May flies [Black Gnats] appear & your horses will get protection from them as well as cutting down the number of flies all summer!! Great for their coat too ;~
