Bored Horses = Big Problems
Horses can easily pick up bad habits when they get bored. Adding a toy to their routine helps keep them engaged and thinking rather than chewing on things, kicking the wall, picking on their friends or even picking on you. Some horses are satisfied with just a ball, but others might need a little more enticement. A hay ball or treat dispenser might just do the trick. Here are a few of our favorites.
Horsemen's Pride Hay Ball
This Hay Ball is durable enough to use indoors or out and it stretches to fit all kinds of treats to keep your horse entertained. We love to stuff it full with hay then add extra treats like apple chunks and carrots to get our horses interested.
Jolly Stall Snack Holder with Apple Scented Ball
This fun hanging stall ball will grab your horse's attention with its enticing apple scent. Pick out a Stall Snack in the flavor of your choice to add to the holder for a long lasting interactive toy. Plain Himalayan Salt is also available and sized to fit the holder if you're looking something without sugar.

Jolly Mega Ball and Cover
These oversized Balls are so much fun out in the pasture, arena or even while riding. Break up boring arena work by adding what is basically a giant bouncy ball to your training routine. Horses love to push it around but we've found our horses are most excited when we play with them. It's a great way to safely get your horse interacting with you in or out of the saddle.
While you can use a Jolly Mega Ball alone, we recommend adding a Jolly Mega Ball Cover to help the ball last longer and hold up better under rough play.
10 inch Equine Jolly Ball
This one is great for both horses and dogs! Since they don't need air to inflate, they also don't pop under pressure. While the material can still tear under heavy duty use, we've found that they still last for years & years in our barn. They can be hung up by the handle or left loose for horses to pick up and toss around.
