Part Time - Customer Service Representative
Big Dee's Tack and Vet Supply is offering a great opportunity for the horse enthusiast to grow and develop in a fast-paced and growing environment. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative professional that will coordinate the functions of the Customer Service Department under the direction of the Customer Service and E-commerce managers. This candidate will act as a resource to the sales team and collaborate with the team to ensure departmental goals are being met.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Engage with customers that are calling in to place orders, ask questions about their online orders, assist with product selection, checking their order status, offering technical support, and service information
  • Support the sales team as needed with projects and daily tasks
  • Field complex or technical questions from customers
  • Research product availability for special orders
  • Problem solve for customers with issues from products, delivery times, damaged shipments, and order errors
  • Answer phones, emails, and live chats professionally
  • Handle complex complaints and issues from customers and escalate to management when necessary
  • Process orders
  • Follow up with customers and expedite orders as needed
  • Maintain good relations with other departments relating to customer service issues such as product information displayed on our website or in print materials
  • Establish priorities pertaining to the customer service department
  • Communicate in a thorough, timely, and professional manner internally and externally as it pertains to customers and staff

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years or more of related experience in Customer Service
  • Experience in fast paced environment
  • Horse knowledge and experience
  • Retail Experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Self-directed with strong organizational habits
  • Master the use of multiple computer interfaces
  • Ability to manage multiple detail oriented duties per day
  • Cross-functional and collaborative with departments
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills, to include time management and follow up
  • Sense of urgency and accountability
  • High level of trustworthiness and punctuality
  • Common-sense approach to identifying issues and resolutions

Hours and Compensation:

  • Flexible hours (8am-7pm) Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday per month (8am-5pm)
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience

Full or Part Time - Showroom Sales Representative
We are looking for both full and part time employees to work in our retail showroom.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Offer assistance to customers by locating product & answering questions
  • Organize and replenish stock
  • Cashier duties

Required Skills:

  • Must have experience in one or more of the following: Race, Hunter/Jumper, Eventing, Dressage and other English & Western disciplines
  • Experience directing others in a retail environment
  • Must be able to take direction from superiors
  • Work well in a team environment but also work individually as well

Hours and Compensation:

  • Must be able to work Saturdays
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience
