• Includes two sets of resistance bands: Two abdominal bands and two hindquarter bands allow for easy swapping between sessions or as replacements
• Abdominal Band (AB): Positioned behind the girth area, this band encourages engagement of the abdominal and oblique muscles, helping to lift the back and support proper posture during movement. Especially beneficial for horses with weak toplines, inverted frames, or those recovering from colic or back-related conditions like kissing spine
• Hindquarter Band (HQ): Runs under the tail, connecting at an oblique angle to activate the hindquarters. Encourages proprioception and balanced use of the hind limbs, making it ideal for horses with uneven movement, poor engagement, or those recovering from neurological or musculoskeletal conditions such as EPM
• The ergonomic saddle pad is specially shaped for use with a Western tack, conforming comfortably to the horse's back without restricting the withers or lower spine

Sizing Information:

• Western Pad: Fits horses 14.2hh-16.2hh. Pad dimensions are 29" spine and 21" drop
• Each system includes a tape measure and a user guide to assist with proper fit and safe use

Fitting Guide:

1. Desensitize before use: Gently rub the Equiband Pro across the horse's abdominal and hindquarter regions and under the tail to help them become accustomed to the sensation
2. Fit the first band with care: Always have a helper present. Apply the first band with enough tension so it does not hang loose. Start with hand walking, jogging, or lunging. Introduce one band at a time
3. Adjust tension properly: Use the included tape measure to determine the distance between the clips on the pad. The band should be adjusted to 67-87% of this measurement for ideal tension. Bands that are too long or too short will reduce effectiveness
4. Prepare before mounting: Jog or lunge the horse before getting on. Always have a helper present the first time under saddle with the Equiband Pro
5. Add or change bands with caution: Repeat the desensitizing and fitting steps for the second band. Only make changes while dismounted
6. Ease into training sessions: Begin by using the system at the start of your ride and gradually increase your duration as your horse builds strength. Always allow for regular breaks, and reduce total riding time at first, as core engagement can lead to quicker fatigue. If your horse appears unlevel at any point, stop using it immediately and consult your veterinarian.
