"Magic Cushion is by far the best hoof packing I have ever used in my 40+ years of riding hunters and jumpers. A sore foot is a death sentence for a jumper! Results are noticible within 12 hours. The only drawback is the packaging but I transferred mine to an airtight container that is easier to open and that issue was resolved. Definitely recommend this product!"

"Our horse had a tear in her sensitive frog that we found when blood was trickling out. After a week of keeping it clean with betadine and covering hoof with duct tape we needed to progress toward riding again. Our farrier suggested we use a hoof packing and after doing some research and reading online I chose Magic Cushion, great stuff. Our first objective was to prevent infection, Magic Cushion contains an anti-fungal and an anti-bacterial. Second was to protect the area from sharp stones, Magic Cushion is very thick so it acted as a shock absorber and barrier. This product had a pleasant odor, was easy to work with, stayed pliable, and if applied correctly would remain in place for a 30 minute ride. Our horse never showed any sign of lameness, thanks to Magic Cushion we could provide her with the protection needed to get her through the heeling process."

"I bought this product in a panic to help with an already drained abscess right before a huge show. Im not really sure if it helped or not, but it did end up creating a seal in the abscess cavity, allowing it to become re-infected in just two days use. This product is very messy and tough to use on a barefoot horse. Im not sure if I will use it again, hopefully I will have no need to. The analgesic ingredients are what first attracted my attention, but Im not sure I could tell a difference or not. I think this is a good product to have on hand, as long as you have gloves and hoof wrapping material on hand as well. Have everything ready before you start!"
