"I love that this product is organic and I can use it safely around my horse and myself. That being said,I don't expect it to last as long as a product that is not water-based and has properties that make it last longer. I apply it well when I put it on and it does the job of keeping the bugs off.I do reapply the next day if I go out. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it doesn't say it repels ticks on horses; it says dogs and cats though?I was thrilled to find an organic product that works"

"I always buy this fly repellent because it doesnt have all of the harmful chemicals in it that some other brands do. Although it isnt quite as effective as those harsh brands, its adequate and smells good."

"This insect repellent is an effective natural alternative to the plethora of chemical sprays on the market. I started using it because I didnt want to be exposed to the toxic chemicals found in most products, and I certainly didnt want that for my horse! Equisect has a very pleasant scent, and for the most part, it works. You may have to reapply it if its a hot, sweaty day."
