"I never really needed ice boots before, just used occasional cold hosing for minor swelling. But when my horse was attacked in his corral by a pit bull, the swelling was bad and ongoing. An endurance friend loaned me a pair of Ice Horse tendon wraps, and after 2 days, I knew I had to have my own. No more hours of standing and water wasting with cold hosing. You have to remember to dampen the leg before applying the boots."

"These wraps/ice packs are easy to use. The gel ice packs will break open as the seams are poor so I recommend taping all the edges before you begin to use them, that will add many more cycles of use. The ice packs work well. The black wraps/holders are just conforming enough to be able to be used in a variety of ways and will accomodate other sizes and shapes of ice packs. The elastic is great but does stretch out over time considerably. These ice packs have done wonders for the various lower leg ailments and preventative care I have used them for."

"These boots are a must have around the barn! The ice packs stay cold for several hours and the boots fit a range of horses thanks to the adjustable velcro straps. I use them after a strenuous workout or when one of my horses legs get a little puffy. Well worth the money."

"I was a little disappointed in the product because once their put in the freezer they are a little difficult to fit and shape on the horses leg. I learned to take them out about 20 minutes before using and than they work just fine."

"When using our Ice Horse Tendon Wraps, we can put them on our horse and turn him lose, letting him free in the stall to eat feed or hay or just walk around without being tied to the wall like he is when using ice boots. We have to tie him to the wall using the ice boots and ice making a big mess in the stall on top of all that. Then with some of the horses you must sit and babysit them for the time that the boots are on them due to the fact they become very unhappy and will strike or throw a fit. We can use the Ice Horse Tendon Wraps on our horses while we are getting them ready to go to the paddock. We leave the wraps on them for the long walk to the paddock and they are NOT removed until the last moments before they are walked out of the saddling area to the walker ring of the paddock."
