The Shires Copper Alloy French Link Loose Ring Snaffle is a bit that encourages contact while discouraging leaning. French links or double jointed snaffle bits lay flat across the horse's tongue and are generally more comfortable and more readily accepted by the horse. The addition of Copper Alloy aids in salvation also allowing the horse to be more willing to accept the bit. Due to their mildness, loose rings are a commonly used bit for young horses.
