The Winning Tongue Plate Bit has a low profile (11mm) gear that prevents roof rubbing and reduces bit pressure by 85%. The Dexter bit with brakes works to lower the horse's head, creating a smoother action, power steering and brakes for horses that pull. Works to stop head tossing, pulling and hanging. Used in Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing.
