Impact gel pads use a patented material made of interconnected energy dissipating molecules that absorb and dissipates force of impact and pressure points. These pads are also antimicrobial and extremely effective at dissipating heat. What makes Impact Gel different from regular gel pads is the way energy is transferred and dissipated through the molecular structure of the gel. Energy flows horizontally through the gel away from the impact location, similar to ripples on the surface of a pond so the gel is continually working to relieve pressure rather than being displaced and causing more pressure points.
