AluShield by Neogen—the fastest and easiest way to protect wounds without having to wrap a bandage on them.

Think of AluShield as an aerosol bandage for horses, sheep and cattle. AluShield has a unique aerosol formula that protects wounds from water, dirt, debris, bacteria and insects, yet still allows wounds to breathe, or receive oxygen.

  • Wounds must have oxygen in order to heal properly.
  • AluShield is perfectly suited to use in conjunction with an antibiotic ointment.
  • The spray is a protective barrier, but contains no antibacterial properties.
  • AluShield also works extremely well to protect recently dehorned and/or castrated animals and prevents scalding from scours and foal diarrhea.
  • Provides great protection to any wound, cut, scrape or abrasion!
  • 2.6 oz aerosol

"I love this stuff! Dries on contact. No goey mess on the wound. let's the wound breathe but shields it from dirt. I have actually seen hair grow through the silver. Great for hock sores and surface wounds. Big Dee's got this to me within 24 hours-! Terrific service! "

"This is really great for places where a bandage is literally impossible to keep on. And it doesnt bother my thin skinned Thoroughbred. As well, it stays on for a good amount of time but will wash off with some gentle soap and water. Love it"

"This is the only product that we like and use. With 8 horses running rampant together in the pasture, there are a lot of nicks and kicks, this is perfect for covering them quickly. I panic when I am low."

"Great on gray horses. Keeps wound dry, keeps flys off and promotes healing and hair growing back."
