AluShield by Neogen—the fastest and easiest way to protect wounds without having to wrap a bandage on them.

Think of AluShield as an aerosol bandage for horses, sheep and cattle. AluShield has a unique aerosol formula that protects wounds from water, dirt, debris, bacteria and insects, yet still allows wounds to breathe, or receive oxygen.

  • Wounds must have oxygen in order to heal properly.
  • AluShield is perfectly suited to use in conjunction with an antibiotic ointment.
  • The spray is a protective barrier, but contains no antibacterial properties.
  • AluShield also works extremely well to protect recently dehorned and/or castrated animals and prevents scalding from scours and foal diarrhea.
  • Provides great protection to any wound, cut, scrape or abrasion!
  • 2.6 oz aerosol

"Great product for wounds!"

"This product was recommended by a friend who used it to heal tail whip on her dog when nothing else worked. I am using it on my Friesian. The flies eat his belly raw and even swat twice a day couldnt keep them off. I started using Alushield and it is working. I can cover a larger area than I can with swat and it stays on. Flies dont like it"

"This is the only product that we like and use. With 8 horses running rampant together in the pasture, there are a lot of nicks and kicks, this is perfect for covering them quickly. I panic when I am low."

"Great on gray horses. Keeps wound dry, keeps flys off and promotes healing and hair growing back."

"My horse got a wound from a branch on a tree, approx 3/4 inch deep and 1 inch wide. At first we were going to call the Vet, But I decided to clean the wound and put on Alushield. I continued to take care of the wound for about two weeks and it totally healed. I can not even find a mark to where the injury was in about 3 months. Saved over $300.00 as the Vet call would have been after hours."
