To ensure best grooming results:

• Soak your new cloth in cold water for a couple of minutes. Hang to dry. Do not wring it out, or tumble dry. This is to ensure your cloth achieves maximum shrinkage.
• When your cloth has dried and the weave tightened, its size is more manageable and it feels comparatively softer, use until you think it needs washing. When it is really dirty wash it with any household detergent or soap in cool water and follow the drying instructions above.
• When your Cactus Cloth is not in use, hang it over a bar, do not tear the fibers by hanging it from a hook or nail.
