Dutton Correction Port Calvalry Bit

Dutton Correction Port Cavalry Bit features a one inch high correction port mouthpiece inlaid with copper with mullen relief combined with 5" Cavalry shanks that offer more control and collection. The correction port is a light to medium severity bit that will apply pressure only on the bars of the mouth, not the pallet. A preferred bit for Team Ropers the ported snaffle provides movement on either side of the port for quick response while the design allows it to sit comfortably in the mouth offering more feel with less pressure when the rein is engaged, the cavalry shank action provides quick response leverage and encourages the horse to bend at the poll. A cavalry bit is a good option for horses that require increased leverage.
