Dutton Dogbone Teardrop Bit features a three-piece mouthpiece with 3/8 inch inlay copper bars and 1 1/2 inch copper wrapped dog bone combined with 3 1/4" Short large fixed ring shank. The three-piece mouthpiece is a light severity bit that is designed to reach the outside pressure points of the bars allowing for tongue relief. A great mild shank for both young and finished horses alike. Teardrop design of the cheeks allows for a sliding motion providing leverage for flexion at the poll and increased response. The copper wrapped dog bone encourages salivation making the bit easier to accept. A Dogbone Teardrop bit is a good option for a variety of horses young and old.
