Dutton Old Cowboy Snaffle three piece twisted wire mouthpiece with copper wrapped center piece combined with 5" Calvalry shanks that offer more control and collection. The twisted snaffle is a medium severity bit that will apply direct and even pressure across the bars of the tongue the center piece allowing pressure to extend to the outside points of the bars offering more feel with less pressure when the rein is engaged, the short shank with loose rings provides a slight gag action designed to refine without excessive correction. Meticulously crafted and built to last, each Dutton Bit is uniquely hand forged, inspired by working horsemen and women and the challenges they face in the arena and on the ranch.
