Vitamin E & Folic Acid by AniMed Horse Care- Provides supplemental Folic Acid, Vitamin E and B-Complex vitamins. Commonly used with most treatments of EPM and for horses receiving medication that inhibits Folic Acid production.
Folic Acid is of vital importance in the maintenance of normal red blood cells. Horses supplemented with Folic Acid can improve hemoglobin levels, with parallel improvements in general condition. Folic acid is also necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells and aids in controlling Anemia. Vitamin E is essential for supporting the normal function of the reproduction, muscular, circulatory, nervous and immune systems in horses of all classes.
